July Update
Dear residents,
The recently refurbished community building overlooking the beautiful Claremont Park will soon be home to the Town’s library services. At its June Ordinary Meeting, Council made the decision to relocate these important community services into the Bay View Community Centre, which will include a coffee shop, a space for community hire, parking and in the future, a community garden. The existing array of library services and programs will all continue after a brief closure in mid-August to prepare for the move.
An open day to mark the official opening of the Bay View Community Centre will be held in September, so keep an eye out on the website for more information.
The future of the Foreshore
The Town is currently seeking feedback on priorities for Claremont Foreshore, between Mrs. Herbert’s Park and the western end of the Claremont Yacht Club. The short survey is a great opportunity to have your say to help preserve and enhance this area, now and into the future.
Your opinions are important, and entrants will go in the draw to win a $100 gift card so please complete the survey before 5pm, Tuesday 30 July.
Claremont’s Night Luxe
For the month of July, visitors to the Claremont Town Centre on Thursday evenings will have the chance to win over $3,000 worth of luxury prizes.
To enter, shop or dine within the Claremont Town Centre on a Thursday evening. Upload your receipt and go into the draw to win. Good luck!
